In creating the Bryan Glazer Family JCC, we are taking every opportunity to craft public-private partnerships and to pursue a holistic, collaborative approach to both the build-out and the design of the programs inherent to the project. The new property will include the following elements.
Our fitness center, aquatics center, gymnasium, and various exercise rooms will serve the fitness and recreational needs of people of all ages.
Within the health and wellness center, a series of programs will function under strategic partnerships between our organization and other health providers.
Our Center for Senior Living will be a permanent feature of the facility, building upon our successful JetSetters, social, and educational programming for older adults.
The Visual Arts Center will be run by the City of Tampa Parks & Recreation Department. Including indoor and outdoor kilns as well as glass fusion studio, jewelry studio and painting.
The Premier Event Venue Spaces will accommodate everything from small meetings to galas welcoming hundreds of guests. The architectural team in place knows that we have a commitment to flexibility, and that we want to ensure that the space is used, visited, and enjoyed by as many members of the community as possible through board meetings, conferences, lectures, performances, bar mitzvahs, weddings, and events. On-site commercial catering is offered by our Executive Chefs.
To further create a sense of community and belonging, we will offer a tiered membership program for singles and families. Membership levels will vary and include some mix of fitness access, program discounts, and member-only programs.
A world-class preschool will be constructed in Phase II to serve our youngest clientele and build upon our reputation of offering “Gold Standard” early childhood education through our two existing preschools. Additional children’s programming will include a day camp during the summer as well as parent-child activities and the ever-popular PJ Library program.
