Youth Developmental Swim Club

 

This is a very flexible program that helps swimmers of all abilities (must swim 25 yards unassisted) become part of a swim team. Swimmers as young as 6 years old up to the age of 16 are able to participate. This program emphasizes sportsmanship, the four swim strokes, skill progressions, confidence and safety. We encompass dry land training into our practice to develop endurance, strength, flexibility and mobility.  We offer a team that builds unity together but leads into something far greater than just swimming, friendship.

 

Practices are offered Monday through Friday. We recommend that at least 2-3 practices are attended per week. We will be hosting an internal swim meet each session between each level to give some fun friendly competition.

 

Team Levels:

Pre-Team (ages 6-8)- The goal of this group is to prepare swimmers for participation on our swim team.  Emphasis will be placed on refining technique in all four competitive strokes.

 

Blue  I (ages 9-11)-  The  goal  of  this  group  is  to  develop  proper stroke Technique in all four competitive strokes and   to   develop   a   love   for   swimming   and physical fitness.

 

Blue II (ages 11-16) - The goal of this group is to cultivate a love and appreciation for swimming while increasing endurance, health and general physical fitness levels. This is the ideal place to develop great training habits for life or to prepare for upcoming high school swim or water polo seasons.

Masters Swim Club

 

We are an organized, supportive group of swimmers coached by experienced, motivating and supportive coaches. We come in all shapes and sizes and all levels of efficiency. We swim for fun, we swim to meet new friends, we swim for exercise, we swim for competition and some swim for all of the above. But mostly, we swim for our health and well-being. Come and swim with us... it's that simple. All members are welcome to try a complimentary swim workout with us.

MWF 5:30 AM- 6:45 AM 

MWF 6:45 AM- 8:00 AM

TU/TH 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM

TU/TH 6:45 AM- 8:00 AM

 

 

Requirements:

  • Must be an USMS (U.S Master Swimmer) member upon joining
