BOSU®

The BOSU Balance Trainer is a multi-use tool that can be used in cardiovascular, strength, core and balance segments to provide an overall total body workout.  All levels welcome. Supportive sneakers, such as cross-trainers are highly recommended.  Check the group movement schedule to see the variety of BOSU classes offered each season.  From Athletic Interval BOSU to Basic Balance & Core, we’ll keep your BOSU experience well-balanced (pun intended)!

 

Cardio Kickboxing

Jab! Cut! Hook! Kick! This class combines aerobic and anaerobic boxing drills designed in a cardio-choreographed fashion.  Short, quick movements with high repetition will challenge your heart rate while toning muscles.

 

Core specific classes

Examples of this would include 15-minute “All Core” classes.  Some classes might use equipment (e.g. stability balls, BOSU, medicine balls); other classes could be with no equipment.

 

PILOXING®

This class mixes Pilates and boxing moves into a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout, guaranteed to whip you into shape, using a class format that's both fun and challenging.  In addition to Pilates and boxing movements, the exercise incorporates the use of weighted gloves which add to the workout by toning the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health.

 

POUND®

POUND® is a full-body cardio jam session, combining easy to follow (and not complex or embarrassing) cardio moves, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses along with a simulated drumming experience. Strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to popular music with edgy beats!

 

Indoor Group Cycling

Take a cardiovascular journey focused on high and low intensity heart rate training.  Listen to the music and challenge your body, close your eyes if you want to. Whether it’s climbing a steep hill or sprinting past your opponent, you will learn to balance heart rate and breathing to achieve optimal cardiovascular health.  Great for all fitness levels because you can control your own bike resistance – in this class, you will get out what you put into it.

 

Total Strength / Chisel

A full body strength and conditioning class using dumbbells, medicine balls, resistance tubing, and any other pieces of equipment your instructor wants to use to keep your muscles constantly guessing!

 

TRX®

A combination of cardio, strength and core using the TRX® suspension straps.  Your body weight becomes your resistance as you work against gravity to control each movement.
