Who We Are and What We Do

You are invited to visit the Bryan Glazer Family JCC Active Adults Men’s Club to meet our diverse members and learn more about the group and what we do.  We meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 5 PM until 6:30 PM in the J Loft at the BGFJCC.  The Club is geared toward men who are interested in spending an enjoyable time with others of similar interests in a relaxed and friendly surrounding.  In addition to twice-monthly meetings that include guest speakers and refreshments, the Men's Club also schedules a variety of activities such as Rays baseball games, a docent-led tour of the Holocaust Museum, chartered fishing trips, brunch get-togethers, and community volunteering.  If you are looking to make some new friends or searching for something interesting to do, please attend one of our Club Meetings.  Come check it out – you will be impressed with the men who are our members.

BGFJCC Men’s Club Purpose

As an auxiliary of the Bryan Glazer Family JCC, the purpose of the Men’s Club is to strengthen, promote and advance the objectives and activities of the BGFJCC within the local community. This can be achieved by stimulating social, cultural and volunteer activities among its members and building ties with the Jewish community.

The only requirement for membership in the Bryan Glazer Family Jewish Community Center Active Adults Men’s Club is that you are a guy with a friendly attitude and desire to meet new men and learn more about the world in which we live.  There are no restrictions regarding age or religion, and you don’t even need to be a member of the JCC to join the BGFJCC Men’s Club.

As a group our membership background is extremely diverse.  Some of the professions of our members, either current or in the past, include a nuclear physicist, military officers (U.S. military and the IDF), doctors, bankers, CPAs, businessmen, university professors, and consultants.
